plankton 1 Posted May 13, 2015 Omega Aqua Terra Chronograph GMT 231.13.44.52.04.001 I'm very happy with this purchase. I wanted a BNIB purchase this time and decided on the Omega because; I don't have one in a gen I need a watch that will not put my customers off I can actually use the GMT function Finish, AR, Co Axial Chronometer So the fun part. I decided to get this after many questions to James, Richard, Kcore, Nunu, Rush and many more. The hunt for one BNIB was one, I searched the CONUS site and the best price I could find was $xxxx let's say. I did however find a dealer in Japan on eBay that has perfect ratings, 2000 plus sales and good prices. So we ended up communicating on email for forgo a huge fee and his price was actually $900 less than the best I could find. So made the purchase with our friends at PP (buyers protection) direct through this guy. Paid him Monday and he shipped from Japan and the fucking thing got here this morning, amazing actually. Keep in mind my expectations had some doubt because of the price and I was a bit sceptical but it damn sure looks gen to me. Ran it quickly buy the local guy to make sure it's the real deal and here you have it. So my thoughts. The watch definitely lives up to the billing. At 3 angles is is dead on (less than 1spd which is fascinating especially for a chrono GMT), the finish is truly excellent from the brushing to the polish to the AR and lume. The movement is truly a piece of art............................... finished nice! The nice thing is if I do decide to M2M (WUS) it at some point I'm pretty sure I can get my money back out of it instead of the customary 14 percent loss on new Gen watches.
