solkryssare 109 Posted May 18, 2015 Love these!! What are your thoughts? I'm thinking of selling my Sumo and put the funds towards this. The 42 mm size would be better for me I suspect.

Wears really well maye id highly recommend it. Up there in comparable finish to my CrPO. I don't actually mind the bracelet which is now resized and mounted on. Heavy watch at 220gms but wears more comfortably on me than a dssd

BentleySharp 0 Posted May 18, 2015 OOOO YEA! As far as divers go, Seiko are well underappreciated by the elite "luxury watch" crowd. I think it's wholly due to their affordable price point. It makes them accesable by the common person, and so it isn't a status symbol or prestige piece, but mechanically, just as sound and stylish as almost any of the artificially inflated pricing of the $2000 diver crowd (Sinn and Doxa, I'm looking at you!) Kleen™ 45 Posted May 18, 2015 I wouldn't call an MM 300 affordable to the average person...it's still a lot of money, and the 'average person' would most likely shake their head if they heard how much you actually went ahead and spent on a 'japanese watch'. But bang-for-the-buck wise...they're a tremendous value proposition.

A Seiko MM definitely isn't chump change.

Thise who've a collection of APs beater would probably be a gen sub

Bash64 17 Posted May 18, 2015 ?? Nah: A chronograph is hardly a diver, is it... I love these, but not an in-house, Valjoux variant I think. Ha - just edited after reading the rest of the post. NICE!!
