dfq23 131 Posted May 27, 2015 If you have a watch you really really like on a strap and it subsequently also comes out on bracelet, would you ever consider buying both if you could afford to? I know in theory you can buy the bracelet and swap em over but that can be a lot of fannying about and sometimes the bracelets on their own ain't cheap. Watch in question is the heritage ranger
Dungeekin 0 Posted May 27, 2015 I would do that - I can sometimes be a bit ham-fisted and wouldn't want to keep changing over between strap & bracelet for fear of breaking pins. In my case it's PO on rubber or SS...
ShovelnTC 31 Posted May 27, 2015 It's a lot of money to spend for what is effectively just for a bracelet but I would prefer the ranger on bracelet or custom strap as I don't like the bund strap that came with the first version of the Ranger. I've just spent an hour looking at the both versions as I have been resisting the Ranger since the first one was released due to very unfavorable exchange rates but in the end the cost is just too much for me so I'm not getting either :( Oh but in answer to your question, if I could afford to then YES! Kleen™ 45 Posted May 27, 2015 I have several versions of the same watch for those exact reasons. And Natos for the rest....
Variatio Delectat 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Seconded. I have several watches as well with strap and bracelet. Compared to what you would pay e.g. for a gen AP bracelet it's a steal anyway.
dfq23 131 Posted May 27, 2015 Fuck it! Ordered it. The one on bund is my go to day to day watch but I love the clean retro look of the dial and how it looks on the bracelet too. Doesn't technically go against my current cull as it's the same watch.... Be interesting to compare though as by different factories
greg_r 81 Posted May 27, 2015 Yup - done it more than once.
Variatio Delectat 0 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Be interesting to compare though as by different factories This may come late, but make sure it fits before you order. I once ordered a bracelet for my HBB but then faced that it would need different faceplates, and an AP ROO from Noob will not take a J12 bracelet. dfq23 131 Posted May 27, 2015 i'm keeping the older one on the bund and the new V6f one will be kept on the bracelet. Now.......... when's the camo nato one coming out.................

Watch in question is the heritage ranger I was lucky enough to have this happen with my Yellow Noob 44 SOAs (greedy i know) Had one on strap (gen) and then got one on bracelet... That was until the one on the strap had a collission with a door... i couldnt look at it in the same way after that... So it got moved on..... And i bought a black noob SOA 42 on a gen pro II bracelet with the proceeds Jay

porschespeedster 19 Posted May 27, 2015 hah, i was about to say...a lot of people have 2 (or 3, or 4. or 5... ) PAMs because they can't be arsed to switch from a brown to a black strap before leaving the house in the AM
Variatio Delectat 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Sure thing. You never can own too many shirts, watches, cars...

Jonnybaws 5,280 Posted May 27, 2015 I have about 14 APs, they all look the bloody same(ish) and come on different types of straps (sometimes the colour is the only differene).. So, in a round about way.. yes!

Variatio Delectat 0 Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Wearing one watch on each arm, I suppose? Edited May 27, 2015 by Variatio Delectat
GoW13 19 Posted May 27, 2015 Hmm, I´m not sure if the comparison with shoes/watch color is correct. You can´t change the color, but you can change the strap. Personally, i would go for the bracelet and change it back and forth. BUT if you don´t like that and/or have the money to afford the same watch a second time, then go for it
wimpie007 108 Posted May 27, 2015 I would but usually I get the one on bracelet in a different dial color than the other one thats on a strap
Variatio Delectat 0 Posted May 27, 2015 I second that - usually I like a light colored dial better with a bracelet.
