greg_r 81 Posted December 24, 2010 That looks okay, but personally I'd go for the IWC
djprone 0 Posted December 24, 2010 I actually prefer this watch the the IWC, maybe because of the shape of it. I used to have a cheap Police watch that was a similar shape to this, i loved it so much until the day i dropped it on the bathroom floor and completely smashed up the inner workings. Here it is - not everyone's taste but i loved it so much:
Luthier 1 Posted December 24, 2010 I like it a lot, but if it would be SS version - I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
PGL 0 Posted December 24, 2010 I would get the TX first.
chum_2000_uk 0 Posted December 24, 2010 (edited) I like it. But then I'm not a big fan of many of the IWCs. To me they are all so plain. I want an expensive watch to look expensive, but not in an outrageous way, just a classy way. Think I like quite modern looking watches, and I'm a sucker for chronographs! Oh and that Police watch above is actually quite cool DJProne! Quite like that, it's certainly unusual. Edited December 24, 2010 by chum_2000_uk

That's what I like about classic IWCs - classic, simple design. I don't like their more recent, showy designs.
Baldrick 1 Posted December 24, 2010 Don't hesitate, buy it, the TX series from Timex are a great series, very good design elements with more than a passing nod to Maurice Lacroix, a strong pedigree, quartz reliability and cast iron warranties, for the money, no rep will offer better, the Steel and Rose Gold models are the most striking, JMO BIKIR
