It's two layers of scrap upholstery leather with the Chicken on top and some ultrafine 0.5mm Kangaroo as a backing. Natural but darkened sides. One fixed and one floating keeper. Very soft wearing. Actually a thin layer of cork on top of some soft brown scrap leather. Might have looked better on black but I wasn't going to experiment on good leather. I really hate when she's right.... This backing leather just melts around your wrist, I'll be sad when it runs out. Running out of daylight so I'll stitch her up tomorrow. Black or White, have not decided yet?
