That Croc on the PAM looks extrem good. Is it for sale???

This one is mine, I wanted the head horns. I will be making another strap from the left over hide. I'll post it for sale when I'm finished. I have some busy times in the weeks ahead (Seeing John Cleese and Eric Idle this weekend, [and a GTG here on the coast], Interstate wedding next weekend ) so it will be a few weeks before I can start this one.

Cheers

I came across a small piece of creamy tan vintage croc belly the other day, not too sure what size it will become or which watch of mine I'll fit it to. Time will tell:

OK, so this one became a 26/22 one fixed and one matched floating keeper. Cut and glue done today. Punch and stitch tomorrow.

Front:

Back: Lined with 0.8mm premium Kangaroo hide the while thing is just average 2mm thick.20160304_133446-1.jpg

Together. Still deciding what colour to stitch. Probably off white/neutral.

Also on the agenda this weekend, I loved the look and feel of the 24mm toad on my SOH but I found a better match Toad skin colour.

After quite a busy day I have two straps completed.

Stitching the "Camel Toad" for my Root Beer SOH.

20160305_154258-1.jpg

My dilemma now is to decide which is better the "Dark Chocolate Toad" toad or this "Camel Toad"

Wow, some interesting straps there.......do you every treat/spray them with anything to enhance durability, or are they inherently kickass durable?

I treat the exotics with a leather conditioner and recommend owners to do the same about every 6 months. Just to help prevent the skin from drying out and remain supple. That's about it.

Those double hornbacks look good!

How much is it to commission something like this? (if it's appropriate to ask)

Nearly ready to go professional:)

You messed up a bit with the final cut/stitching at the end of the longer part, but still a nice overall result :)

I noticed that too Alex, as stitching is my least favorite part and I was half way through I didn't want to start over.

Thanks mate. The one on this page went to Norway and the one on the previous page I still have on one of my watches. I just wish I had a good supply for the Croc backstraps. My suppliers source has just been bought by the "Prada" group so even he's having a hard time getting Croc now..
