Workin' on a Yellow Toady today. Black stitching tomorrow and she's done..

Since having my heart attack at the gym last Monday and being forced to take time off and just sit and relax I have been enjoying making these things..Learn as I go. I do have some Elephant on the way.. Ethically sourced ofcourse.

Something like these and go for the 3mm ones as the finer stitching looks much neater.

Cheers, I'll do that.

Finished this yellow beast finally.

Well, my piece of Elephant hide arrived. Seen here next to Bronzo on the first toad I made.

It's really soft yet tough. Should make some wicked straps.

Wow those look great. I like the elephant. Posting while getting ready for work so only had time to view the pictures. Is there a website to buy these? Or way to custom order?

I really like your straps. You should try turning the edges of the leather instead of coating them. On straps it really takes it to the next level, especially with exotic skins.

If you are not sure what I mean there are numerous youtube videos showing the process.

Some interesting techniques on that video, I'll look into this more. Thanks for pointing it out.

I like it as well, especially on a thick backing leather, the texture is Reptillian. Every colour of the rainbow is available. I still have a purple, brown, tan and blue/black to make.
