123qwe 0 Posted December 27, 2010 It work when I regulate the time but after some time wearing the watch it stop working. this is the situation: 1. I regulate the time on the clock. It start beating and working correctly 2. I wear the watch. 3. After some time, when i need to know the time, i look at the watch and see that the watch is not moving. What could be the cause? And a solution? I have a narikka po 45mm
Akira 0 Posted December 27, 2010 You have to wind it anticlockwise about 30-40 rounds It should run then
KBH 7 Posted December 27, 2010 As Akira says, wind it when you first put it on since the main spring is totally unwound, and unless you are very active it will likely stop before it builds up enough reserve power. If you wind it and still have the problem then it's something more serious and it will need to be looked at further.
123qwe 0 Posted December 28, 2010 Apart the fact that mine need to be winded clockwise (it's normal?) but after some random hours it stops... i think there is something that blocks the gears because shaking it the watch start again to move... Sorry for the english, i hope the message is clear :dunno:
greg_r 81 Posted December 28, 2010 Then you're going to need to get it looked at by a rep-friendly watchsmith, 123. There's obviously a problem with it.
123qwe 0 Posted December 28, 2010 But I'm ashamed to go to a watchsmith with a rep... what could him think? And also, I don't know if I can take the watch to any watchsmith or only to an omega watchsmith...
WebWind 1 Posted December 28, 2010 And also, I don't know if I can take the watch to any watchsmith or only to an omega watchsmith... It is not very good idea to take your watch to "Omega watchsmith". You must find rep-friendly watchsmith. Post where are you from, someone can recommend rep friendly watchsmith near you. KBH 7 Posted December 28, 2010 It work when I regulate the time but after some time wearing the watch it stop working. I have a narikka po 45mm If this is a relatively new watch, you should contact Narikaa and ask him about it. Maybe he will fix or replace it for you. As for having it fixed, if it's a 21j movement it would probably be cheaper and easier to replace the movement or buy a new watch.
