PeterWorcester 0 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) I know this isn' the kind of post we want to hear about, but I'm getting a little worried about a GMT-II that I ordered from Replicamake, com several weeks ago. I got a confirmation and nothing since. I've contacted the site several ties and gotten no answers, should I be worried ? I would have thought that by now I would have at least heard something or had an answer to my emails etc. Anyone got any ideas ? TIA, Peter Worcester Edited December 29, 2010 by PeterWorcester
ebzen02 341 Posted December 29, 2010 They are extremely busy. I just sent them a polite follow-up email last week on my order and they (Lay) responded super fast. Expect your watch to take it's time getting to you. No fault of Lay, just the time of the year and China EMS taking a long long long long time..
guitarbiker 1 Posted December 29, 2010 yes i would echo that you shouldn't worry i've used lay several times 110% guy, be patient at this time of the year.
greg_r 84 Posted December 29, 2010 Lay is extremely reliable, but shipping is slow at this time of the year and all the dealers get swamped with orders. Drop him a PM if you're concerned - I am sure he'll put your mind at rest.
ebzen02 341 Posted December 29, 2010 Yup.. PM him and then get yourself Lay'ed...just had to say that!!
stiltzkin 0 Posted December 29, 2010 Order my second watch from Lay a couple of weeks ago... Following the QC pics etc I didn't hear anything else. I received the EMS tracking number this morning from Lay to find that it was shipped last week and is already in the UK. The man is busy, don't worry, it'll turn up in good time and you'll be happy...

TIA, Peter Worcester Well I feel much better now, just emailed Lay and got the following email back within minutes ———————————————— My friend, Sorry for late. Here you are. Does anyone know if the overall weight is close to the weight of the real thing ? I've seen some real expensive replicas that are half the weight and the bracelet is as loose as plastic. I'm hoping this one looks and feels nice and solid. Thanks everyone for your replies Peter Edited December 29, 2010 by PeterWorcester
greg_r 84 Posted December 29, 2010 I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Weight and general feel is going to be very close to the real thing. No rep is 100% perfect, but this is a nice watch

PeterWorcester 0 Posted December 29, 2010 Looks nice video is a good touch Yes the video really is a nice touch, It certainly looks beautiful, I can't wait to have it on my wrist. I just hope that it's time keeping is decent. I've owned a few replicas that lost minutes a day. I'd be very disappointed if that were the case. It look very sweet. Thanks all, Peter

PeterWorcester 0 Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) Could someone tell me Lay's board ID so I can PM him? I still haven't received a tracking number or heard from him since the 29th. I was hoping to at least get a tracking number so I have some kind of comfort level that I'm actually going to receive this. I know I'm being a tad impatient but I'm trying to get this by a deadline and I don't have a lot of faith that it's going to make it. I did order it on Dec 16th which in all fairness was almost 3 weeks ago now. TIA, Peter Edited January 3, 2011 by PeterWorcester
