onzenuub 309 Posted June 19, 2015 If anyone has a couple extra link screws for the bracelet on a 21j Explorer ll please let me know & I'll buy them from you. 33; Are those the same as the screws in a Breitling bracelet? If so I can screw you, for free.
Electron17 0 Posted June 19, 2015 Totally agree with Tits, recently got a watch from another member with extra links but one screw missing. Now I cant use the watch as I cannot fit all the links. Please if you are selling a watch make sure all the screws are in the spare links when you send the watch.
ShovelnTC 31 Posted June 19, 2015 I have a pile of watch sized boxes and sheets of bubblewrap in my garage, I really can't imagine ever sending a watch in a bag............Dickheads!
ShadyManc 0 Posted June 19, 2015 I have typically always used large Jiffy bags for shipping watches. Watch gets well wrapped and taped in lots and lots of bubble wrap, then it goes into a medium to large jiffy bag and wedged in so it can't move around, then into a postage bag. I have not had a single issue either a) sending watches like this, or b) receiving them like this. I have received watches in boxes that have been squashed to within an inch of their life, with a watch clearly only protected by the inner bubble wrap. Moral of the story, bubble wrap is an absolute must, pack your watches up appropriately, but don't think putting it in a box equals well packaged, it often doesn't survive the trip too well and always use copious amounts of bubble wrap whatever method you choose. elp 26 Posted June 19, 2015 I have often sent watches I have sold on M2M in a Jiffy bag, well wrapped with bubblewrap and cardboard. To date, no problems reported. And I always sell with a "working on arrival" guarantee

paulvillo 364 Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) Not sure I got this right.. You mean not even USPS box? A swinging plastic bag with an address tag and a watch in it is just unbelievable. Definitely not rocket science and even noobs - like myself - should've known better as we all've shopped online for once at least.. holly Amazon!! Mattcas 0 Posted June 20, 2015 Every single watch ive bought has come in an envelope, I must be lucky though cause they always turn up fine! I always send in a box, ive got enough laying around!
Hornet 1 Posted June 20, 2015 Putting a watch, even a rep, in a bag for shipping is criminal. Hang the fuckers... ....as others have said always keep the TDs packaging and reuse it. Always try and duct tape the fuck out of package's to be extra secure.
repvar 1 Posted June 20, 2015 Maybe the reason they avoid boxes, is that a box is more likely to be inspected by customs? An envelope might just slip through if they dont notice it has something inside
Stone Mountain 0 Posted June 20, 2015 I received two of mine in a styrofoam box which was taped well together with bubbleplastic inside.
COMPLICATIONS 0 Posted June 20, 2015 The other point is the lack of screws in the links. In my humble opinion that is misrepresentation or in common language sly. I'd be naming and shaming the fukker for that!
