He changes his car every 6 months to a year, and had a few 2.0d’s (always BMW) and even had an Alpina B3 a couple of years ago, and the 640d was an itch he needed to scratch, but said it was the worst car he’s ever driven in winter weather. I was commuting in my M5 in the few foot of snow we recently just had (I have other cars) and I've drove my my older cars in the snow and ice (c63 e63 m3 535 e60 and f10 and Range Rover svr) with no issues.. they're fine if you drive them properly, was a mech/tech at BMW for 2 years and the amount of cars that come back due to not been able to drive in adverse weather conditions was unbelievable.. also whilst the MPG police are here, the M5 runs 706WHP and with cruise set anywhere from 70-90 I get 28-32MPG Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
