There’s too many BMW wankers on here...oh wait.

My AC Schnitzer 530i. The only manual one in the country by my knowledge.

With turbo flames and hot exhausts in the tinder dry Australian forests rally season is over.

So for the summer months its off with the rally wheels and on with the tarmac tyres for hillclimbing and circuit sprints.

I thought the Goodwood festival of speed was apt while I make the changes to the car.

What started as a quick freshen up of the paint turned into a six year nut and bolt rebuild.

Getting close to our maiden voyage, this should suit the occasion nicely.

she's an absolute peach with an edelbrock  e-force supercharged LS7, cat back exhaust, 641hp...and when i get bored there is always a mod I can do. how do spell fun?-2SS.  interestingly enough, 2SS also spells midlife crisis.  the watch is ok too!

Here we go.

This is how it stands at close of shop today, haha ran out of trim rivets with 5 to go so that last front piece will be on when they arrive. Engines in and running, trimmer comes this week to do the hood lining then the windows and interior will go in over a weekend. Getting close!

What a great car.
Why do older cars always have more style? What happened to our taste?

Certainly are! Underrated in my opinion, but then I like that it's a sleeper and slips under the radar of other road users. A bit like the JLC in the horology world.

Definitely! I’ve driven M3s and performance-wise I don’t think there’s much in it...

Wow they're all beauties.  The Caddie would be a fun daily driver and great sleeper.  I put a lot of $$$ into my Camaro so whoever buys it will be getting great value because there is no way I will getting back all the cash I put into it.  However, that's always the way with this hobby.  Right now I am strongly considering the vette but it will be my daily driver so it's going to be taking a lot of abuse.

So true!

Nice car btw, very stealthy and powerful looking!

Your estate looks exactly like where my last house was, blatantly the exact same houses. I bet the layouts are even the same.
