Casio Edifice - do they make reps of these?

Recommended Posts

ekho

These are inexpensive watches to begin with, so I'm not sure if anyone would even bother making reps of them. Gen version should be around the $200 range. But I'm seeing them on ebay for less than $100. All the sellers are from Hong Kong/Malaysia. All of them say they're 100% authentic. But are they reps? I want to get the gen, but don't want to be scammed into buying a rep thinking it's a gen.

So my question is, do reps even exist for watches in this price range?

Yes, reps of low-end watches exist and they're usually sold as gen.

Be careful.

Nope.

All watches from HK or Kuala Lumpur are gens, there's huge chains of watch stores, that offers these watches quite cheap.

I went to purchase a similar watch here in Australia and the price was $400AUD. I declined. I ended up getting two watches out of Hong Kong for less than $150 AUD with postage.

Both are genuine and have all the paper work with them.

Yeah I have bought a couple of Seiko Arcturas in the past from Hong Kong, RRP here in the UK was £450, I had them for just over £200. There are some great deals to be found on Japanese watches if you are prepared to get them from somewhere like HK.

Flight to HK - $780 round trip from LAX.

Dinner in Peninsula - $89.

Shopping watches on Nathan Road - $320 a pair.

Chinese girls - priceless.

Really tempted to pick one up from ebay for cheap. Looking at an auction for less than $70 shipped.

I know there's good deals to be had in HK, (just came back from there a month ago), but some of the prices for these Casios on Ebay are too good to be true.

I gotta be honest I really like them too. I think the only thing about watches like these is the bracelts tend to be a bit on the thin side, and/or not the most comfortable. Even the bracelet on my Arcturas dont seem as comfortable as I remember my gen Seamasters being. Having said that, I've not tried one of these on, so you may find it really nice.

Hell, for $70 it's gotta be worth a punt! I'd say go for it!

Oh, forgot to say - when I said I got them from Hong Kong, I didn't mean I actually went there! I bought them from an HK seller on eBay. Really quick delivery both times as well iirc.

Obviously just make sure the seller have plenty of positive feedback and jobs a good 'un

There's nothing sadder than an old man with a girl half his age, pretending to have a big dick rather than just a big bank balance.

BL, I don't have to pretend, I have both in decent sizes. Just never bragged.

And I don't need cute ass on my avatar, I have it at my house.

And, oh... Old man, envying to a middle aged man with a girl half of his age, is even more sad thing...

Oh come on gentlemen. Play nice!

I very frequently live in HK as I have a condo there. I'm also 26 and women actually buy me dinner and drinks. I actually had some daughter of a huge construction company wine and dine me a few times, especially at SPOON and dropped money on a bottle of Louis XIII. I'm not even much of a high quality drinker!

Seeing a Caucasian man with an asian girl half their age is sooo common, especially in LKF. No offense Luthier  we love you

A real gentleman won't allow any woman to pay for his drink or dinner.

Doesn't matter, is it a business meeting or romantic tete-a-tete.

And I can give you thousands of examples of non-asian females with mature men.

It has nothing to do with age. If you feel great with a person - then age, money, or social status isn't important.

Mug! Fair enough if I am dating a nice young lady I will pay for everything (unless she takes offence, then you know you have found a winner). However, if I've been dating a girl a while and she never offers to pay for anything, then I wont be hanging around. Girls like that are not worth the expense and hassle. I've always been lucky, and found nice shy girls, who almost always offer to pay their half, generally right from the first date - this type of girl absolutely loves it when you absolutely insist that they mustn't pay for anything (for the first couple of dates).

Also, this is the 21st century man! If girls want to be equal, and a well off girl offers to pay for everything, particularly if she absolutely insisted even after me saying that I couldn't possibly accept her paying then I'd let her! I'd generally consider myself a gentleman when it comes to ladies, I've always had nice looking girlfriends, who luckily have also had that 'shyness' about them, rather than the 'I'm beautiful everyone look at me' attitude. But there is a difference between being a gentleman, and being a doormat.... I'm certainly not the later.

Just my 2p

Chum, I talked about GENTLEMEN.

It doesn't matter, what Century is, you are or gentleman or not.

Period.

If you allowed a girl to pay for herself, doesn't matter what, you are not a gentleman.
