JohnWayne 0 Posted July 20, 2015 (edited) I bought this Submariner replica from Toro Bravo back in March, and I had issues with the crown from the beginning (hand winding wouldn't work, and adjusting time was a bit difficult - felt like the crown was slipping). Fast forward few months, I was trying to adjust the time today and the whole stem pulled out (pic: http://postimg.org/image/9fxrp65q5/). The stem would not engage the movement when pushed back in, and the seconds hand continues to move with the stem pulled out. Any idea what the issue could be and how it can be addressed? Are there any trusted members that can help fix the issue? :help3: Thanks! Edited July 20, 2015 by JohnWayne
GenTLe 1,510 Posted July 20, 2015 Note: the picture is not visible. If the watch is a BP factory with an Asian 2836 I've already experimented this problem. The movement need to have the keyless resetted (and a good service I'd say). It's a task that only a good tinker (or better a watchmaker) can do, not for a novice without the appropriate tools. If it is a 21j movement, it's better to just replace the movement all together...
JohnWayne 0 Posted July 20, 2015 Thank you for he quick reply. Can you see the image through this link? http://postimg.org/image/9fxrp65q5/ It is a Noob Factory replica, so it should be a 2836.
GenTLe 1,510 Posted July 20, 2015 Yes I see with the link. Anyway I'd say that this is equalli valid: "I've already experimented this problem. Look here: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=4295 and http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=4315 If you never worked on a movement, then leave it to a watchmaker
