pimple 0 Posted January 8, 2011 Hello everyone, a few weeks ago I ordered my first rep(Tag Heuer Carrera) from Mary, everything is fine, Mary is really a nice dealer. She sent me the watch before New Year, I only have to wait for the watch arrive. And now there is a big problem, the customs officer from my country got the package and found the watch. I receive a letter from them today morning (yes, that's right! instead of my watch!!) They said they will detroy this watch and I have to sign for this letter to be agree to detroy it, otherwise they will get in touch with the manufacturer and I will get a very serious problem. Under such circumstance I don't know what I have to do now, because I am a totally noob in this. Can I still can a refund from Mary? Or can I still get my watch finally? Please help me. Thanks for all.

trailboss99 997 Posted January 8, 2011 Oke, first of all, sign nothing, simply ignore it and if they contact again say "what watch? I never ordered a watch". Tell them you have no idea as you were not expecting a parcel and they can do what they like about it as it has nothing to do with you. Mary will re-send the watch altho a different address may be a good idea. What country are you in by the way? Col.
pimple 0 Posted January 8, 2011 I am from Switzerland. Can I really so easiely ignore all of that?

djprone 0 Posted January 8, 2011 I am from Switzerland. Can I really so easiely ignore all of that? I'm not an expert, but i think customs in switzerland will be pretty bad for replica swiss watches. I think your best option would be to get it shipped to the UK, and then onto you - this way you will have no problems. Do you know anyone in the UK? djprone 0 Posted January 8, 2011 Unfortunately I know nobody in UK... It may be best to contact an admin or mod here and see if they can help you find someone trustworthy. I would offer to do it for you myself. But you've never met me, and i wouldn't know how to resolve the situation if it gets lost once i've sent it. Another idea, would be to speak to mary to see if she can get it shipped via the UK
pimple 0 Posted January 8, 2011 I wrote Mary before, hope she can get a solution for both side. Thanks djprone, it's kind from you. But I am still not sure if I can get the watch via UK when the customs officer from here so strict.

Akira 0 Posted January 8, 2011 Switzerland is not EU! So shipping though the UK isn't 100% sure. But much much better than from China.

pimple 0 Posted January 8, 2011 Before I ordered this watch I have asked Mary if it is possible to send the watch to Switzerland, she told me she can send the watch except Italy, because the customs officer from there is very strict. Because of this reason I orderd it, but now it happens also in my country...
trailboss99 997 Posted January 8, 2011 Trying to ship direct from China to Switzerland is pointless. I have NFI why Mary even tried. The other option is to have it shipped to someone in Germany or France/Italy and go collect it. Then just wear it across the border. If they ask again, just tell 'em you have no idea what the hell they are on about as you never ordered a watch. The worst thing you can do is is sign anything that has you admitting you knew what was in the parcel, then they have you. Col.

pimple 0 Posted January 8, 2011 As I said I asked before I ordered, and she said it's OK. Maybe I am the first one from Switzerland who has such problem.
KeNnY 29 Posted January 8, 2011 it is all about luck, if the customs will open the parcel or don't...
Akira 0 Posted January 8, 2011 it is all about luck, if the customs will open the parcel or don't... Not in Switzerland... They scan every fucking parcel from China period! Its not like Germany or France, which are big countries with a lot of parcels from China comming in every day. There it is a hit and miss with the fakes from China. It was pointless sending it in the beginning. I would try sending it over Germany or Austria with a normal reg. airmail to a different adress. Chances are small they open it up.
