Godfathar 1 Posted December 1, 2015 A quick comparison would reveal the big difference in the way the dial is constructed. the brown dial available looks like the black in the below picture. only brown.. so I doubt it will look the same if they used the same old brown dial. the pattern is completely off.. it's so clear with the gen how the words Patek Philippe are on a flat surface. unlike the black dial one. _DC_ 218 Posted May 1, 2016 Depending on the light the gen does look quite brown too, I'm more concerned by the case and endlinks, this is essentially the old SW200 case, with incorrect end mid-link shape and the holes in the end links themselves!! Are those end links the large end links from the SW200? they seem bigger right? or am I seeing wrong? cos on the picture they don't appear to be larger.. what a pity!! Only thing holding me back is the poor quality of the gold plating, I have a 5980 in RG and the end links look awful, the gold hasnt worn down to the steel or anything just looks a darker color than the rest, is that wear or shall I try and polish it out?
