machiavegli 6 Posted August 9, 2015 I'm meh on the gen. I think a true classic PP shouldn't look busier than a Breit. But it's all a matter of taste! -Mach
Kleen™ 45 Posted August 9, 2015 The fuzzier dial-print I could live with...but the IS instead of 15 would annoy me...
Big Adam 0 Posted August 9, 2015 I'm meh on the gen. I think a true classic PP shouldn't look busier than a Breit. But it's all a matter of taste! -Mach Spot on. If this was branded Breitling, it'd be spot on. PP just seems wrong.

Jooost 0 Posted August 9, 2015 For a Patek, I think it's a pretty decent rep. Besides the 15 error, it look as per gen. Just don't think it is a pretty watch for Patek standards, even the gen isn't in my opinion.
_DC_ 218 Posted August 10, 2015 Just wish they'd stop mucking about making the new models and get the old ones right first, give us a more accurate 5070 and 5170, then worry about the new stuff!!! DC
_DC_ 218 Posted August 10, 2015 PS: What would bug me more than the "IS" would be the fact that it's meant to be a chronograph and I'm pretty sure it has no chronograph functionality... unless anyone can correct me, the 9015 isn't a chrono movement?!? _DC_ 218 Posted August 11, 2015 The more I look at it the more I'm thinking of getting one! For those saying the dial is too busy for a Patek I can see why you'd say that (they're better known for their uncluttered simplicity) but sector dials are as "Patek" as perpetual calendar chronographs! It's an aquired taste, but one that is growing on me, I'm quite keen on a sector dial 5296 too!! DC
