This is my favorite PAM photo ever... Thank you Baldrick ! :D

I just find the Rose Gold beautiful and the photo is fabulous.

TTK's pictures could make a Fiat look like a Ferrari. :)

That one is stunning and the brown gator strap looks awesome with the RG.

Do you have any daughters?

No, but I did just bring up the situation last night to my wife of fifteen years. That's not how long we've been married, that's her age.

It's an awkward situation now, but when we got married? Eight years ago? It was a real scandal. When we walked off the Blue Ridge for our honeymoon. In the big city. Yup. Asheville.

No, I do have daughters, 12 and 15. The eldest is too young still. She won't be driving until next spring. She's not a bad looker and has her own cast net, boat and motor. I could send you pictures. It's 115 horsepower and well rigged.

I wouldn't mind having them marry back to the Isles. You know, before the N. Korean missiles hit. I'm not too keen having them ride the Eye to take in all Londanistan, but it would sure beat Hiroshima-on-the-Hudson.

Hold off on the Panerai and just have 'Baldrick' forward some photos. They are rather photogenic. Like my wife. Fun behind closed doors. Just awkward as all hell out in the 'public'. People just look at you strangely. And for good reason.

Cheers.

.....Perhaps PAMs are not for everyone, but I find them simple and elegant.

They don't scream look at me.

Great post, and point of view Aren.... thanks! That pic Baldrick posted really is something. I do very much like that!

I'm not big on them either, but what I did was order a $80 GMT homage from Getat to see how I like it. I figure he's got great feedback from members, mods, & admins ... plus, it's only $80 as opposed to $268 (for similar one I'm looking at that says 'Panerai' on it).

Panerai are for the guys who were deprived something in their childhoods and they are making up for it now.

Demsey...

Are you suggesting that some gents in their infant state were deprived of unnecessary plastic objects from the Woolworth's store?

No doubt, some were deprived at Woolworth's and others at FAO Schwarz.

The shame of it all.

I can recall painful memories of being deprived at Harrods...

oh, that doesn't count, I was an adult.

Fortunately, my children had their Lewis of London twin pram.

Pram - PAM...at that age they didn't know the difference.

Edit: Perhaps you should photoshop the word "Rolex" on your example.
