DWO software?

I think Mr G literally just wants to create the design 1:1 and print it black on white vinyl on his inkjet printer at home. Nothing more than that. But I could be wrong.....

Font doesn't look so bad on the screenshot. Where is it from?

Ok, I got some results.

1st (also to reply JSJ), the fonts can be sourced here: http://www.1001freefonts.com/ (you can put down some numbers and test them on 50 chars per page)

2nd I found a good vector software free which is Inkscape (https://inkscape.org) and it's much more than enough to do these things

Here the 1st try:

Not exactly but similar to this one:

Well done GenTLe :). Looking interesting.

Maybe we can start a sharing trend. I wouldn't mind having a go too. I have a couple of IWCs with the wrong font.

On the ones I tried printing on my laser the resolution of 2400 ppi looked a bit jaggy if I recall correctly.

Only under a microscope though :giggle:

The 4 is not IWC on that font unfortunately. The normal eta font 4 has the flat top which drives my ocd wild. Not that I have ocd.

But if I did, the 4 would drive me wild.

Yes, I am at page 130 out of 350 of available fonts :D

Do you have any pic of the 4 the way it should be? Even the bezel looks to have slightly different fonts than the dw...

personally, id use Illustrator for the numbers and convert the text in to vectors.

import those in CAD or PSD or whatever to print.

There is an app called 'what the font' works reasonably well if you have a decent resolution image of the font your trying to match
