HeavyKrush 16 Posted September 5, 2015 Mines an older version, but have to agree, one of the best bangs for the buck of just about any diver out there. Still one of my favorites particularly as a summer watch...

Hornet 1 Posted September 5, 2015 The Monster is a real monster. I have an original Orange Monster which I bought about 12 years ago. It still works just as it did when I first bought it. Wear it in good health. ....disagree! If you want a real monster watch you want this watches 45mm big brother That's a monster on steroids. Very cool looking piece. ....this is the 42mm version, the 45mm is the monster! Mines an older version, but have to agree, one of the best bangs for the buck of just about any diver out there. Still one of my favorites particularly as a summer watch... Nice photos! Can't beat a Monster, I have four of 'em ....second person with 4, is that a magic number for Seiko monsters?! cogwatch 1 Posted September 5, 2015 Very nice, and welcome to the Monster club!! I have 3 Monsters, first generation orange and black and second generation limited edition blue. Love them all. If you get tired of the bracelet I have the perfect strap for a black Monster. A Di-Modell Chronissimo. Here's mine below. I'm actually more of a bracelet than strap guy, but the black Monster on this strap got me to switch on this particular watch. Note, if a leather strap seems contradictory on a dive watch, the Chronissimo is in fact waterproof to 100m!!! Enjoy your new toy!!!

Lovely strap, but I'm not convinced it would do it for me.Was thinking that as the Monster doesn't have the end links flush with the case that a Strapcode (other brands are available......) bracelet would be good; maybe a super engineer or an oyster......
