Jase 0 Posted September 4, 2015 Evening fellow watch addicts. Quick question, what position does the stem need to be in to remove it? Winding or time setting? Ive googled this and although easy enough to find a bit of info, I couldn't find this snippet. What am I up to you ask..... I'm applying silicone grease ready for a waterproof test on a 45.5mm PO and an Aqua Terra 150 master co-ax. Thanks Jase.....
Pihlippe 1,285 Posted September 4, 2015 Am not familiar with the movement, but assume if you push the button, you should get the stem out in any position. If a hack movement, perhaps time setting position is best.
edwinowl 180 Posted September 4, 2015 If I recall these don't hack, I did mine in time set position and was fine.
Jase 0 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Thanks Pihlippe and edwinowl. It is indeed non hacking. Just given it a go, came straight out no problem in time set position. Easy back in too. Thanks again gents. ☺ Jase... Edited September 4, 2015 by Jase

GenTLe 1,509 Posted September 7, 2015 For Miyota time set position. And gently put it back while rotating it until you fil it "fits". Trying to put it back if it has been previously extracted while in winding position will end up with the sliding pinion out of the yoke and it will need movement disassemble (date wheel and relative plate) to fix it... (Ask me how do I know it...) For ETA instead winding position.
