topspin757 0 Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) So after 2 weeks of waiting i finally got my rolex two tone DayDate from Josh at perfect clones. the watch is beautiful but the bracelet is very light and flimsy. First question is...is this normal? I understand the two tone band is stainless steel and gold plated but was expecting a heavier more sturdy one. Second question...where can i buy a heavier presidential style band. I'm willing to pay $75-$150. Thank you for your help! Thenew1 0 Posted September 10, 2015 Yes that is a normal thing for these reps. its basically unrealistic to expect the weight of white gold or platinum from stainless steel. theyre all like that, at least the ones ive had/handled. the only remedy is to buy a gen bracelet, but wont be between $75-$150 lol also, post pics

wdev 0 Posted September 10, 2015 Try looking on eBay, put a little effort in it. Plenty of replacement bracelets about. But hey, since I'm such a nice guy, a 2 sec search on Ebay gave me this result: http://www.ebay.com/itm/20mm-14k-Gold-Two-Tone-Jubilee-Watch-Band-Mens-Rolex-Datejust-16233-/201409705971?hash=item2ee4f437f3 Now, can we talk about my commission
NFleischer 4,355 Posted September 10, 2015 Don't worry, the watch is a fantasy model to begin with. Gold is heavier than SS- nothing you can do. Maybe a wrapped bracelet, but the new Subs with that cost $600+ !!!

Deffo a difference between quality Not saying they are not better than rep ones, but certainly the ones from the 70s and 80s with hollow centre links are quite flimsy feeling. Especially when the gold mid links have stretched.

Stewart 0 Posted November 10, 2015 I have been wondering about the feel of the president bracelet as that is one of the big selling points of that watch to me. Sorry to hear it is not up to a higher standard. FYI you can by the gen 18k white gold version for about $8,000.
