Bamadadof3 0 Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) When one is running that fast or that slow magnetism will be the culprit most of the time. It causes the hairspring to stick to itself as it osculates which in effect shortens the spring which = running fast. Not sure how it happens but I would guess if they run them through x-ray machines at customs that could cause it or maybe it was shipped right next to a box of high powered transformers. I'm just about to pull the trigger on a couple more for the collection so we'll wait and see what delights behold me on their arrival!!! Great fun this hobby!!..definitely keeps you on your toes!!!
