dave47 6,512 Posted September 26, 2015 Friday sees another "two-fer," gang! For most of the day: this neat Timex Expedition Chrono picked up from a mate on WUS. Typical Timex (good) quality; for the rest of the day/evening, this Calibre de Cartier Diver I secured from an excellent RWI mate in a recent sale. It's a big (49mm x 15mm) TT auto, with engraved rotor, etc. Big but comfy; I'm just not sure I can "pull off" wearing a Cartier. The gen version of this sells for $10.2k on line. dave: TIMEX: CALIBRE DE CARTIER:

NFleischer 4,355 Posted September 26, 2015 @ Dave47; thank you for the complement. I think the Yellow Swiss Seawolf is available again. About $400 +, but a true super rep with a ETA movement. On the par with most lower priced Swiss gens. I prefer the rubber, but the bracelet is also very good, just makes it very heavy. I find that true for most watches > 44mm; can't seem to manage the weight of the SS bracelet. Forget about Gold, a real AP solid gold weighs about 1 pond I hear! Thanks for the info, N., but the $400 is way above what I can pay right now; that's why I try to save. dave
