Gramps used to yell at me for slowing down, and don't STOP for anything. I didn't, especially when Susie the farm dog killed a groundhog. And you guessed it, dropped the corpse on the row of hay I was currently bailing. Let's just say that the bale came out nice and juicy. And I got yelled at for not stopping... I was just sitting there in front of my house all the time when they were working or plowing until one day, when they asked me if I wanted to jump-on and sit on the mudguard. And after one week "do you want to drive so one more of us can lift the bales? This is the main slow/fast gear lever, hand accelerator, this is the clutch, those are the brakes, this is the 18 speeds main gearbox...". Problem is I didn't know what a clutch was... Or how to use it 1st day has been interesting!!!!
