WatchDog21 3,345 Posted October 12, 2015 Like what you have put together here. The era of Elgin is when most wrist watches were small on today's standards. What is the case diameter?

I was inspired by Kcore's Waltham purchase, and contacted subjeff on RWI who originally built it. He gave me pointers/instructions. This one is a standard 44mm Pam Luminor case from Jackson. The donor watch is a 6s pocketwatch from eBay (34.70 mm movement diameter) using a sliver of PVC tubing as movement holder 120 years old and running smooth as silk. Just need to find the right strap for it now.

That is very cool, I am going to have to do one of these myself at some point, the dial on yours probably a bit too intricate in design for my personal taste but very nice all the same, I think a nice croc or gator strap in a chocolate brown colour would suit yours
