It's far away from being perfect, I know that. But sanding, aging and polishing all these parts myself was a lot of fun and it is my own personal watch which I will pass over to my son one day. Costed me not more than 130 $ plus 44 € for the strap and a few hours of enjoyable time. Glad, that I never purchased a watch from those motherfuckers. Also can't understand the hype of their watches being sold on their website. Fucking awful pieces for fucking high prices... :help3: Praise for this thread!!!!!!!!!!! You are a hero, ROFL! There really are some people out there paying up to 150.000 $ for a manky, mossy but gen 6152... The Italian Navy bought them for 10 $ per unit back then, this is equal to 130 $ approx. nowadays. It is just more fun building your own when you get the hang of it.. Anyhoo, the dust settled and everyone went their way. I think the lesson was learned..
