After a lengthy wait from TS-Station, I finally received the newest JF and one for the Misses. I must admit, I was doubtful and hesitant to purchase the new JF but after wearing it for an entire day it has grown on me. The case, bezel/screws are perfect and the dial has a nice sheen to it at various angles. It really looks so much like the gen that I could not be more pleased. As for the misses model, it's the "mini me" of the men's JF!

Looks great, this is definitely on my short list, just mulling over what factory to go with.

Here I have the TF in Blue and the JF in Silver. Each has it's pros and cons...it's a matter of preference so I will be most likely keeping both.

The JF bezel screws look way to miniscule...that would really bug me...

Nice movement and especially the rotor. How close to Gen?

It's a nice attempt at a clone but there are still flaws on the deco plate. i.e. the position of the main spring and bridge is currently at 7:00 compared to a gen that is at 4:00. I just don't take off the watch and hand it off for someone to look at...you never know if that person owns a gen and you're caught out. Best to keep on your wrist where it is much more difficult to discern as a rep. ;)

We should work in the AD stores... the amount of info we get on where everything needs to be and how is amazing......

If you enjoy the look of the watch and movement, who gives a shit about 'being caught'....?

I think they are not smaller than the TF, I think the TF screws are recessed , and that's perhaps why you see them differently.

The JF screws are actually smaller by comparison to the TF by 0.5 mm. There is a lengthy thread on RWI about the this model currently at page 104 with the knowledgeable members dissecting the various factories producing these models...quite an interesting read if you have the time to read all of the comments.

^^ wow thanks for the valuable info. I'm familiar with the thread you're talking about. But honestly couldn't find the time to go through the whole thread. I guess wishful thinking that the JF would have the right size bezel screws.

'saktly. And if you look at the polished portion of the bezel, you'll notice it's more slanted than on the TF/gen, which might explain why they do not seem quite so out of relative proportion as they are...

Love the look of both of them, yet I'm still partial to the TF. Having both must be a wonderful thing.
