DC First thing is the bezel insert goes in a cup of bleach for 10-20 minutes at a time. I don't like it super faded but this was a resistant insert so it took me maybe about an hour to get it moderately faded. Then I took a heavy bladed pocket knife and tapped the edges of the crystal with the blunt end of the blade so it had little dings all around the edge. A few taps on the front of the crystal itself. A bit of my house key on the crystal and bezel after it was faded. Then a little filing and dinging all around. Hit the crown and the lugs fairly heavily and the opposite side where it would rest on the desk. I also rub the shit out of clasp on the caseback although it didn't come out great this time so I may cape cod polish it to take it back a notch. I'm going to hit it with some coffee grounds or smoking resin a bit to give it a slitty dirty look. I also want to haze up the crystal a little but more. Not perfect but I don't really feel like dropping the $$ to get it properly moded Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
