GenTLe 1,509 Posted November 28, 2015 Well, TF now has only the silver dial (all the rest in steel is sold out) so not much of a choice. But I love mine
mrgoodlife 0 Posted November 28, 2015 well the blue and the black one is miles better on the JF so not a problem at all to me haha
Shamrock 0 Posted November 28, 2015 Its a monster thread but fortunately someone summarised a comparison of the factory versions:- TF Pros: - Thinner caseback - Dial - Hour & minute hands (still wrong, not gen-spec) TF Cons: - Bezel screws hole (too big for the screws) - Bezel screws (not good quality) - Crystal - Alignment bezel/case/caseback - Non-decorated movement - Thicker lume on dial's markers - Second hand - Bracelet (Not good screws) - Crocked & wrong crown's logo V6F Pros: - Alignment bezel/case/caseback - Decorated movement (still wrong, not gen-spec) - Hour & minute hands (still wrong, not gen-spec) V6F Cons: - Bezel screws - Crystal - Wrong dial (under the minute indices) - Thicker caseback - Thicker lume on dial's markers - Second hand - Bracelet (Not good screws) - Wrong crown's logo JF Pros: - Bezel screws - Crystal - Alignment bezel/case/caseback - Decorated movement (still wrong, not gen-spec) - Second hand - Thinner lume on dial markers - Bracelet - Crown's logo JF Cons: - Dial - Thicker caseback - Hour & minute hands If you take those and rank each model with them; Dial: 1. TF (By a large margin if you get well aligned markers @12) 2. V6F 3. JF Caze Size: 1. TF 2. JF (due to its better distribution of the extra thickness between cb and main case as opposed to the V6F which is all added in cb) 3. V6F Alignment: 1. JF (From what I can tell at this point) 2. V6F 3. TF Bezel Screws: 1. JF 2. V6F 3. TF Fit & Finish: 1. JF 2. V6F 3. TF
mrgoodlife 0 Posted November 28, 2015 I am not happy with the dial rating to me the Jf has the best dial, then the TF and last is the V6F
skitter 0 Posted November 29, 2015 It's a matter of preference. Some members prefer the TF's bracelet and thin case. However, the JF has the edge and highly recommended.
King 0 Posted November 30, 2015 The biggest issues for me are the faulty dials on the JF (tapisseries are too small/spread out) and V6F (tapisseries don't break under minute markers) and the poor quality bezel screws on the TF. For me, these flaws can't be "unseen" and drive me nuts. So I'm waiting on a JF V2 ...

Krana 0 Posted April 24, 2016 Any updates on possible v2 release for JF 15400? Wanted to pull the trigger on a JF 15400 this weekend but after countless hours reviewing and watching videos of gen and reps, looking at the screw issues, the square boxes on the dial, date font etc etc, it would be kind of exciting to see what value v2 will bring to the table. at the end of the day, a rep is a rep, and I know it will/can never be 100% like the gen, otherwise it would be a gen and I'd be paying $20k for it. Gotta hand it to JF and even TF (before JF times), a high level of accuracy is already present. Current JF is still very very impressive! The biggest issues for me are the faulty dials on the JF (tapisseries are too small/spread out) and V6F (tapisseries don't break under minute markers) and the poor quality bezel screws on the TF.
