Nightwatch 1 Posted January 27, 2011 DSN Case Drilled out Lugs New Engraving between lugs Spring loaded lug bars (homemade) Molnija/Rolex movement conversion Thick Crown guard (nightwatch) This Case Back (nightwatch) Engraved case back with MM038 New Dial with resin indices T24 Plexi (nightwatch) Gunny 74 strap The new DSN case is far too shiny, here it has been aged (a few stages) then the lugs have been drilled out to take the new thick spring loaded lug bars (homemade) and also the new lug engraving has been completed... T24 unpolished plexi is waiting for final polishing Shiny but not an out-of-the-box-shine...Plexi has been polished ready for fitting New dial with resin indices Newly made stem, new Thick Crown Guard and new case ring Molnija 3601...all serial numbers removed...fully stripped...serviced...nickel plated....engraved and assembled... I have a couple of Molnija's (3601) - do I remember reading that the canon pins are not very tall on these? Is that what i am seeing? The 3601 does have a short canon pin however I am currently building another watch whereby there has been a request for a tall canon pin, I'll post some images when its complete...
