6152 with Solid Engraved Case Back and New Dial

Recommended Posts

Nightwatch

  • DSN Case
  • Drilled out Lugs
  • New Engraving between lugs
  • Spring loaded lug bars (homemade)
  • Molnija/Rolex movement conversion
  • Thick Crown guard (nightwatch)
  • This Case Back (nightwatch)
  • Engraved case back with MM038
  • New Dial with resin indices
  • T24 Plexi (nightwatch)

The new DSN case is far too shiny, here it has been aged (a few stages) then the lugs have been drilled out to take the new thick spring loaded lug bars (homemade) and also the new lug engraving has been completed... T24 unpolished plexi is waiting for final polishing

Very nice - really like the dial base color-background.

I still want you to do something for me one of these days.

spectacular!!!

is it the photos or are the hands that close to the dial? I have a couple of Molnija's (3601) - do I remember reading that the canon pins are not very tall on these? Is that what i am seeing?

The case looks absolutely perfect, subtle, not beat up, not "nos" - just right for me....

Yup.. There are a few folks now doing the high canon pins for these movements. BTW, I have seen many 6154's (not 6152's) with a really close thumb tack hands.. For for a 6154 this would be okay..

The 3601 does have a short canon pin however I am currently building another watch whereby there has been a request for a tall canon pin, I'll post some images when its complete...
