hibshire 0 Posted January 29, 2011 Hi, I have a new Daytona from Lay which my wife bought for me as a surprise. Since it was a gift I am very happy to get it. Unfortunately, I have read the movement 7750 with sec@6 may not last me very long. My friends at RWI are offering me advice so I thought I would also ask you folks. Sorry for those of you who have already read this elsewhere. What (if anything) can I do to make this last as long as possible? Here are the QC pics. greg_r 82 Posted January 29, 2011 When it starts causing problems, just get it serviced. Some work well for years, others break down within months. It's a bit of a lottery, to be honest. We can point you to several watchsmiths who can work on these things when the time comes.

hibshire 0 Posted January 30, 2011 Thanks Greg, I won't sweat it then. I'll just enjoy it and if/when it gives me a problem I'll ask for some watchsmith names. Thanks again, HS
