Thanks KCore. By the movement nr. it was built in 1949 and it´s been in the family since around that date. Unrestored 1950´s Omega gents 9k cal.265, mechanical hand wind .375ct Solid Gold, oversized "jumbo" case with 37mm diameter including crown and measuring 44mm from lug to lug. English Dennison cased with a plain (unsigned) crown.

This is the predecessor of the 267 cal. "Ranchero" with similar hands, size and configuration. Locally, it was way expensive back than, nowadays wish it was a Rolex in the same condition:)

hi Ed, they're 35mm without the crown. Indeed small by modern standards. Cool watch with an interesting history

Nice Robin, even though the vintage ones usually run on the smaller size there is still something about them that catch's my eye and I like.

P1020701_zpsndpfko3v.jpg Not so much a 'vintage' watch but more of an 'antique'. My Rolex trench watch dates from 1916 and is the pride of my trench watch collection.
Gorgeous bro.

This is quite something - what would a watch of this vintage and condition be worth in today's market?
