Leslie 62 Posted December 3, 2018 I think some old watches like this one have the two hands too similar (in length or width or shape).

Unfortunately the dial shouldn't say Oyster. Can't win them all. I may move this over to the case with screw down pushers. But just put the silver bezel on it. J!m 289 Posted December 11, 2018 I like the Spidel on the Miligauss. Nice touch!
J!m 289 Posted December 11, 2018 Hey Rich- I have the same watch. FYI you can fit an Omega orange hand, as well as running seconds hand (from the 321/821), which is available white with silver center. Length is perfect. The minute totalizer hand has to be broached slightly to fit. Provided minute hand needs a slight trim, so the tip is in the minute track. It looks like you addressed the date wheel already... Mine is in the pile on the bench... I dropped it and it stopped, so I probably need to reset the balance wheel. 700 crown is correct for this model. I also added replacement pushers from WO990 and a correct case back gasket.

I'd build one with the spare dial and hands I have, but I think the case is hard to lay ones hands on.
J!m 289 Posted December 11, 2018 Oh, yes. Mine's a DW as I suspect yours is as well. Rocking horse poo / Hen's teeth these days. I did very VERY minor shaping to the case to match up with the dozen of photos I have for comparisons- it's spot on. The DW dial is more accurate print-wise, but colors are a bit off. All the other dials have the bottom of the date window/minute track interface messed up. I've been looking for a dial for ever and no one makes a perfect one. It's an awesome piece however. Well worth the effort perfecting it.
