That tag was my graduation present from my folks when I graduated high school. It wasn’t the most expensive thing in the world but I love it still. It sucks that the green seems to wear off on the “TAG” text on the bezel. The got bored and filled it in with a black sharpie. lol. I rarely wore it until I got the 2000 dial and that NATO strap just fits it perfectly with that color combo. That was my first “expensive” watch. I thought I needed something to celebrate my graduation so I bought the Tag. Agreed- it was a very expensive purchase at that time haha. One of these days I'll try a green oil based acrylic paint and see if it stays on. I've just had it fully serviced recently plus some new links for the bracelet - I was wearing it when I got into a motorcycle accident many years ago and some of the links were damaged (still wearable) but the watch as a whole survived.
