Very very clean look! Mine unfortunately has lost its lume on the hour hand. But nevermind, it gives the watch a lot of character and it is one of the watches that I receive most of my compliments on

Indeed. A watch that's lived a life and could tell a story or two!

Thanks been in the family since 1924 or so...grandfather lived and worked in Brooklyn at the time he got it, not an expensive watch at the time

True, Hamilton was quality but affordable for a working man that saved up som dollars. But the gold chain on it was expensive, very expensive as it stil is

Reminds me of my old gen 14060 at a glance. What I wouldn't give to still have that watch...

It is actually one of my favourite watches. It is a Johnny Lazar built 5513, then my watchmaker did more work on it. Up close and personal this is an amazing piece. I bought that Yuki for it, but the yuki suited the 6538 better.

 

If I had to have only one watch it probably would be this or another 5513.
