Robin195959 2 Posted March 13, 2017 (Gen) Landeron 248 Very nice. My B&M says hello. Same movement I believe. Very very clean look! Mine unfortunately has lost its lume on the hour hand. But nevermind, it gives the watch a lot of character and it is one of the watches that I receive most of my compliments on Indeed. A watch that's lived a life and could tell a story or two! True, Hamilton was quality but affordable for a working man that saved up som dollars. But the gold chain on it was expensive, very expensive as it stil is
GC 4,489 Posted March 30, 2017 Reminds me of my old gen 14060 at a glance. What I wouldn't give to still have that watch... Stunning!
yllekp 1,684 Posted March 30, 2017 Reminds me of my old gen 14060 at a glance. What I wouldn't give to still have that watch... Stunning! It is actually one of my favourite watches. It is a Johnny Lazar built 5513, then my watchmaker did more work on it. Up close and personal this is an amazing piece. I bought that Yuki for it, but the yuki suited the 6538 better. If I had to have only one watch it probably would be this or another 5513.
