RichardMiami 4 Posted January 16, 2016 That is lovely! I'm only just beginning to appreciate IWC - and that one helps a lot. Thank you sir! Please bear in mind that this is a 2006 Aquatimer -- gen. Good reps are VERY hard to find.
GenTLe 1,509 Posted January 16, 2016 Superb Greg! This is gaining alot of interest to my eyes!! Do you know what strap size is on this one? 24/22? 23 lugs, 22 buckle, measured right now. And its 115/80 size, due to the shape of the case, fits my 7.7in wrist perfectly (normally I need 125/80 or even more).
Cubic Hare 494 Posted January 16, 2016 Still loving this one Rawbaws. Blue Chicken Foot strap changes the whole look again.

Frazzle 5 Posted January 17, 2016 Perfect on that NATO buddy Thanks Robin. Unfortunately one of the end links broke yesterday on my cheap rivet bracelet. So it's found itself on this true NATO!
dave47 6,505 Posted January 17, 2016 Late Saturday wristies of my newly arrived U Boat U 1001 Italo Fontana from Ali Express; this is an inexpensive (read: cheapie) model of the watch. I've wanted to try a U Boat, so before ordering a better quality one, I thought I'd try this version first. If I don't like it, not much is lost. It has its flaws from the original, of course (like the missing helium escape valve at 8), but, all in all, it ain't too shabby. Actually, while out to dinner with two other couples, the U Boat was noticed right away, probably because of its 50mm diameter. dave: One More:

A watch dial I can read without my glasses is always a plus! Fits your wrist well.
dave47 6,505 Posted January 17, 2016 Recent Holiday special from Jomashop. I was always a bit leery of MoMo Design but I have to say this is a terrific piece for the money ($350)! Swiss Eta and 1000M WR for price of a good rep. A bit big at 48mm, but wears well and is nicely balanced. BOLDLY go where few tread. A nice catch, IMHO, N. Good for you! dave
