Another stupid price though for what is just a 7750 on it's side!

MetalMickey 179 Posted January 26, 2016 Cool, and solves the problem of rearranging dials on a 7750 I guess! But far too expensive
Kcore 0 Posted January 26, 2016 Why don't the TDs stop with the "1:1 and Best Version"' bullshit already! After all this time, you'd think they could make up a new totally bullshit marketing scheme
RichardMiami 4 Posted January 26, 2016 Why don't the TDs stop with the "1:1 and Best Version"' bullshit already! After all this time, you'd think they could make up a new totally bullshit marketing scheme They could always reverse it! Instead of calling it 1:1... they could do it backwards and call it......................... wait............................ nevermind..
BadPickle 2,802 Posted January 26, 2016 a small insight to the never-ending rep price increases, there was a time when i would refuse to pay over $200 for a rep, then $300, now what? $400... nothing special about this in terms of build, same same as a boat load of other reps, will poke the eye of the tag huerer peeps i'm sure, but at $400?? plus shipping has gone up to $55 with one of the TD's...... not complaining, just stating the facts...... I thought it was getting daft when reps went over $100, but the quality followed and when I returned to the rep game a couple of years ago it seemed you could get decent stuff for $00-$250 (Toro's recent deal on Noob subs being an example of a modern rep being sold at the 'right' price') But since then, a string of APs (Schumacher!) and Tudors (Pelagos was complicated but the Ranger?) have continually pushed costs up and - as you say - the shipping costs have gone up greatly, adding a good whack onto the cost especially if your dealer adds on a percentage for PayPal or credit card processing (mentioning no names, but at least one dealer on here adds 5% whereas with others you pay what they say!). It's getting expensive, and we just encourage them by buying the overpriced ones!

scozzie 0 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) I just picked up the butchered, non-bullhead, quartz version to try it out for size $120........ much more reasonably priced. Not a big fan of bullheads anyway so this suits me fine. I need to get into it and tweak that tag logo a skooch. Edited January 27, 2016 by scozzie

wolfwood 4 Posted January 28, 2016 Is this a popular watch? Why would the maker decide to make this odd model and price it so high? Is there a demand for it? It'll probably go on special soon anyway.
