dave47 6,477 Posted February 13, 2016 His and Hers Tudors! AAAwwwweeeee! VERY nice and romantic, Richard! Glad to see this. My wife isn't interested in reps (and watches in general). She fears I'll be tossed in jail, heh! dave
dave47 6,477 Posted February 13, 2016 Astron shipping delayed My plan was to start the day with this chrono (trusty 16 year old $50 Timex) and end it with the Astron for both ends of the spectrum. Unfortunately not meant to be today... LOVE your oldie, M.! Just looks as good as it did so long ago. I have a manual wind Timex "Diver" a jeweler/friend of mine gave me back in the 70s that's been through hell and back-- AND still keeps accurate time. Truly, as the late John Cameron Swazey (sic) used to say in his ads: "Timex: Takes a licking and keeps on ticking." Truly so.. I'll have to dig it out & show it off to every one. Thanks for the pic. dave
dave47 6,477 Posted February 13, 2016 Oh, WOW!! Didn't know Deep Blue made these, Richard; this is the first one of these I've seen, and it's VERY captivating!! dave
dave47 6,477 Posted February 13, 2016 VERY beautiful and attention-getting, Del. I have the rep version of this. It's one of those watches that's just fun to wear. dave
dave47 6,477 Posted February 13, 2016 Old pic, but this one again. So comfortable. VERY true!! For such a large watch, these SL Neptunes indeed ARE very comfortable. dave
JerAnt 0 Posted February 14, 2016 Old pic, but this one again. So comfortable. VERY true!! For such a large watch, these SL Neptunes indeed ARE very comfortable. dave I've got a Swiss Legend Commander automatic on it's way to me now. Slightly smaller than the Neptune, but still a large watch - and I suspect it will be every bit as comfortable too. Diggin' this brand!
