A7750 Issue with the Operating lever

Recommended Posts

ryaku

Hello everyone

got a faulty 7750, chrono doesn't work properly.

I can push the start button of the chrono but the operating lever apparently doesn't get back in position, therefore I am not able to push that button again to stop the chrono.

Which part is responsible to push the operating lever back in position?

If you need more pics to troubleshoot, I am happy to take new photos

Thank you

Hi,

1stly I would unscrew the operating lever screw and check if the lever is in proper shape (especially at the junction beetween the main and smaller pushing part) and verify the part represented here by nr 7 is not bent:

Furthermore I would check if the wire spring indicated here by nr 85.041

Is in place: that is the one that pushes back the levers.

But you need to remove the movement ring that it is still on in your pics.

Hi mate, I had the same thought, I will check it carefully tomorrow to be sure the lever is not bent

Thanks :)

I think that you'll either find that the spring that GenTLe indicated is bent or missing or that the lever is binding. Those would be the first two things I'd look at at least.

I've also had this. Good advice here.

Always worth looking at the swisslabs animations on the eta website. This gives you a good insight into what it all looks like and how it works.
