dcjkraton12 0 Posted March 18, 2016 Hi all- I have a high-end GMT II replica, has worked flawlessly for last 6 years. Due to the amount of travel I do and constantly changing the time, the crown/stem appears to be stripped and will not 'stay in' after I set time/change date. I think the simple thing is send it to Katt for repair, but understand I need to source a new crown/stem. Any advice where I can get a new crown/stem? Would most Rolex crown/stem work with GMT II? Thanks all!
unreformed66 0 Posted March 19, 2016 (edited) Genuine parts do not work in replica watches for the most part, at least not without modifications. We'd need to know what movement you've got in your watch to be of any help. Edited March 19, 2016 by unreformed66

Genius 281 Posted April 14, 2016 I think it maybe the tube and not the stem you need as it is often the threads on the tube that strip altohugh whilst ive seen it being pretty common on Omega PO reps not seen many (or any that I can remember) rolex reps doing that
