Photo Review of the new Patek Phillipe 5070g and 5070r on Jacob Straps

I'm not going to review these since DC very recently wrote the most awesome review with all the info you will ever need on these watches, rep AND gen. I myself am absolutely blown away by this rep, it's stunning and breathtaking and everything else all at once.

I had two straps from Jacob ready to go for these beauties (you NEED a gen gator for this watch, trust me) and here are the photos.

They sure are stepping it up on these PP dress watches aren't they?!! Both look fantastic, SS for me since I'm not an RG person

I would wear both on each wrist.

They are gorgeous but if I was forced to have a choice, I think the SS would come first.

Phantomtech,

Your fantastic photos pushed me over the edge & I've just received my 5070G & now thinking of getting a new strap too ... either a CF or Jacob. What is the thickness of your Jacob strap and is it removed by spring bars at the lugs? Kind of worried about scratching the lugs when removing it!

From the photos above, the Jacob straps seems pretty flat with the same thickness throughout. Was just wondering if they strap makers can follow the rep strap design and do a round profile with thickness at the lugs being 4.5mm at the ridge and tapering to 3mm at the buckle end. TQ
