Nugget001 0 Posted April 14, 2016 Don't buy from eBay seller - Coolwatch or as I've started calling him "That Motherfucker"... So I had my what I thought was a gen Tissot up for sale on M2M when the good folks of this forum pointed out a number of issues with the watch showing it was a rep not a gen Thread here: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=116627 I've withdrawn the watch for sale & opened a eBay dispute "That Motherfucker" or Coolwatch has already replied denying it's a rep & wants a letter from Tissot confirming it's not a rep before refunding any money I don't have a Tissot service centre where I live so would have to send it off I'm hoping either eBay or PayPal think differently & I don't have to jump through all the hoops to get my coin back Anyway buyer beware from COOLWATCH on eBay. He's based out of Japan Here's "That motherfuckers" store on eBay http://m.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?sid=coolwatch&_pgn=1&isRefine=true Also wanted to say thanks to you all here in this forum for pointing this out. Good bunch of lads Luckily I didn't sell this to another member on M2M sales. Bit embarrassed I didn't notice or see any of these issues but live & learn Wish me luck getting my coin back

Nugget001 0 Posted April 14, 2016 Did the shyster ask why you thought it was a rep? No mate. I listed everything showing why I thought it was a rep but all he said was his watches are 100% authentic and unless Tissot confirms by letter it's not genuine then no refund MF lol
Genius 281 Posted April 14, 2016 Did the shyster ask why you thought it was a rep? No mate. I listed everything showing why I thought it was a rep but all he said was his watches are 100% authentic and unless Tissot confirms by letter it's not genuine then no refund MF lol You already have a good macro of the dial draw circles round the sloppy lume and arrows to the indexes with missing paint and it'll be pretty hard for them to dispute
Sifu Whitey 53 Posted April 14, 2016 So he's just hoping you grow tired of jumping through hoops trying to get the refund, while you prove what he already knows. If he were legit and truly believed the Tissot he sold you was gen, he'd get it back asap and then run to Tissot so they could fall over themselves trying to fix it and protect their reputation. F'ing douchebag.
fatarms 7,791 Posted April 14, 2016 I looked at a couple of the chrono Tissot watches he has for sale and I saw the same bezel number issues on one or two of them as well. Paint missing or unevenly applied to the numbers/indicies/triangle
Gazzla 23 Posted April 14, 2016 Simple. Ask him to prove it's a gen, with a receipt. Fucker.
Genius 281 Posted April 14, 2016 Simple. Ask him to prove it's a gen, with a receipt. Fucker. If you can get tissot to report his eBay listings to eBay as fakes then he will have to prove to them that they are gen, is there somewhere on the tissot website you can report fakes? Nugget001 0 Posted April 15, 2016 Quick update I found an Tissot authorised service centre, emailed them & they are happy to look at the watch to confirm if it's a gen or rep No charge just the postage there & return postage back to me Guess I can use this situation as a learning experience

Baldrick 1 Posted April 15, 2016 Have you contacted PayPal and made them aware, they take a dim view of fraud and you should have PP protection, I've had about 5x e Bay disputes over the past year, all of them resolved with little inconvenience.

Nugget001 0 Posted April 29, 2016 Hey Team RWG Quick update. I finally got the watch back from the Tissot service centre here in Australia They have confirmed in writing the watch is not an original Tissot product. Their watchmakers report stated "The luminous hand marks are wrong and there is no factory marking on the movement" So suck on that eBay seller - Coolwatch. Have just sent him an email with the report & even a link to the Tissot service centre report Hopefully I get my coin back from the seller directly or PayPal Thanks to you all for finding this & your advice Once all done I will do a free VIP giveaway for the watch if anyone is keen Cheers

trailboss99 996 Posted April 29, 2016 Make sure you report him to eBay as well as PP whether he refunds or not. In fact I'd be opening a PP dispute immediately.
