Timmetje83 0 Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) Hi all, I'm Tim from the Netherlands and just received my first decent rep an Omega Seamaster 300. I'm already a long time member but never really pulled the trigger untill I saw an add of the Seamaster 300 and off course Spectre I decided to check the forum again. I have chosen Joshua to order my watch and I am very happy with that choice. Transaction went very smoothly and I'm very happy with the watch he had chosen. So many thanks to Joshua! The watch looks really great, very nice bezel and dial. I really love the retro look. Off course the movement is a real tell but it really looks nicely decorated and runs fine. As some mentioned the rotor is indeed noisy but it doesn't bother me. Engravings in the back look correct. The lume is pretty good with exception of the hour hand. Normally I wear watches with a leather strap, so I had to get used to the bracelet but it is very comfortable. All togehter I am very happy with the watch. The biggest problem now is that I want more watches. Really like the Rolex bpsd or an Omega Aqua Terra. I believe you guys like pictures so here they are (I tried my best with my phone I'm not Gazzla). Edited April 18, 2016 by Timmetje83

bigmak 9 Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) beautiful watch, is this with the Japanese MIYOTA 8215 movement? Edited April 18, 2016 by bigmak
dmalfoy 0 Posted April 18, 2016 Very nice watch!! How was the shipping?? How much time and which method?
Timmetje83 0 Posted April 19, 2016 Thanks everybody! @bigmak yes it is that miyota movement. @dmalfoy Shipping took about 2 weeks it went first to the UK, so no problems with Dutch customs. I was wondering if someone tried to remove the bezel? Would like to polish that mid case ring.
grinner 0 Posted April 30, 2016 Looks great. Congratulations. If you prefer straps, that watch looks great on a tan strap. You'll need a 22mm strap, but it should fit with a little effort. Google it and you'll see some examples.

Google it and you'll see some examples. Thanks. I already ordered some 22mm nato straps. A tan strap is also a good idea. I saw someone around here with a suede strap that looked also really great. Oh yeah ,I managed to polish the mid ring case without removing the bezel. I also noticed the case between the lugs is polished on the reps and on the gen it is brushed. Timmetje83 0 Posted June 6, 2016 Mine on omega rubber [/img] Looks very nice. You have some more pictures also with the bracelet. Don't believe a lot of people ordered the two tone.
rusty peters 0 Posted August 19, 2016 I have a blue one and I love it. If you keep it on the bracelet, go grab some loctite and add some to all of the screws on the bracelet. I had lost one on an end link and I had a couple of loose ones. Those little guys are escape artists! This is a heavy watch on the bracelet with some serious wrist presence. Don't let the 41mm fool you! It wears like a 44mm watch.

dodda 0 Posted September 3, 2016 Mate that's a pretty sweet looking watch. I'm about to pull the trigger on a PO TI but this has given me pause. Congrats You should. Check the thickness difference. The ceramic bezel is great. I own two! I keep bouncing between the CrPO, CrSMP, Seamaster 300 & Titanium Planet Ocean. If my first rep comes in looking good I can definitly see my self being bitten hard by this rep bug. ^_^ What other reps do you have if you don't mind me asking?
