dave47 6,505 Posted April 30, 2016 Hey, Gang! An early Saturday evening post of a very special watch: several years ago I had been scammed out of a lot of money by an RWI mate. I posted the warning about the scammer on the three sites I was using at the time. One of the mates from one of sites felt sorry for me and was embarrassed because the scammer was from his beloved UK. As a way to "compensate" me for my loss and atone for the miserable cur's actions, he voluntarily sent me this watch: a Rolex DateJust II with an A2836 movement & would not accept any gift from me for it. I was floored by his actions and have worn it (albeit) lightly since then. Every time I put it on, it reminds me of the goodness extant here on the watch sites -- esp. to the many RWI mates who jumped to my defense and hammered the bum.
