VERY beautiful, my friend! WHERE do you find all these unusual Seiko divers? I believe you have a very nice collection of them --based upon past wristies.

I have to say I'm impressed with this SL watch. I doubt it has anything to do with Swiss, although the movement is some weirdo Swiss brand

they claim. It's a heavy monster- but runs like a top! Can't cry for $175.

Great watch indeed, and especially when you can get them for the sale price you lucked into! My blue dial Abyssos Automatic is definitely my favourite Swiss Legend watch. Weighty, well built, and the sunburst dial blows me away.

The Abyssos Autos earn their Swiss Made designation, and the STP1-11 Swiss movement is no slouch - there is a good write up on it at A Blog to Watch here. I actually prefer the STP movement in my Abyssos to an ETA - the STP starts working almost as soon as I pick up the watch, and even with only a few hours wrist time, it will still be ticking the next day whenever I strap it back on.

Daywatch

The lume on this Seamaster 300 always was dull until hitting it with a UV-light once. It not only glows bright in the first minutes, it keeps readable for hours. Not the best of lumes - but it does work after all, it ignores flashlights but loves UV.

Thanks Dave. I found this one on eBay. The seller does these mods on a regular basis and you can normally pick one up from about $50 - $100
