No, it's for sure not an ETA 2824-2 . It's definitely a Chinese movement but which one I'm not sure. I'm sure someone here knows. Hope that helps.

The rotor is usually quite noisy and free spinning. I think the 23 jewel is the same movement but some people call it 21 jewel for some reason lol. I might be wrong though. They're usually reliable even though they're entry level, I've got a few watches with this movement and not had any problems.

Yep. Definitively one of the DG2813 variant. And one of the most common movement in the lower grade reps (in respect to those using Asian eta clones or Miyota 9015 ones).
