Movement removal from case - A21J

I am trying to fix a problem on this watch, which I tried to sell but because of the visible flaw it had less interest than it should have.

 

I want to access a piece stuck between the datewheel and the dial.

 

I have opened the caseback and removed the stem. Problem is I can't seem to find how to take out the movement, I don't see a movement ring/holder and I tried to pull it out but it's very tight.

 

Any recommendations?

I think for this case construction u need to access the dial and movement from the front.
