How about wear it on the right wrist until repaired, then no-one will see the crown sticking out under your shirt or sweater if you go long sleeve... I know it would feel weird wearing it on the other wrist though...

 

Both are beautiful. Love the blue with the mesh strap.

What G suggested will work. Just remove the crown/stem from the watch, unscrew the crown from the stem, remove a small amount from the threaded end of the stem and using trial and error keep snipping away until it has the desired effect...:)
